Shelby GT500 quad tips on a 2014 GT/SC
Thinking about putting Shelby GT500 quad tips on a 2014 GT/SC. Anyone else do this? Have some pics that you can post? I thought the 14 GT/SC rear valance is the same as a Shelby GT 500. Yes or No. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks. I added the Roush side and rear splitters, lowered 1.5" all around (my pics are before the lowering), painted calipers black, removed the hood stripes, and tint is next week. The only other thing I want to do appearance-wise is a staggered wheel setup. Here is before and after on lowering. Subtle lowering, but exactly what I wanted.
Lets see some pics of your CS! What color is it?

Mine is black like yours. I'm adding quarter and rear window louvers and a tint. Undecided yet on a tune and axlesbacks. I guess it all depends on what the dealers says about the tune and its effects on the warranty. I'm thinking about the GT 500s with a resonator delete. How did lowering the car affect the handling and ride? Is the ride rougher/bumpier than before?

You should definitely get some exhaust. The stock sound of the GT is not what it should sound like!
For springs, I went with the Ford K Springs. I didn't do full suspension, but plan to in a year or so. The ride is not as bumpy/rough as I thought it might be. It's actually not bad at all. The stock springs felt like I was driving a water bed when going around turns. That doesn't happen anymore. I can only imagine how much better it feels with new shocks/struts.
If you get a tune, it will most certainly void your warranty unless you go with the track key... even with that, you're reduced to 3 years from what I'm reading. There is a lot of threads going around about that. Just check the general forum.
Hope this helps.
