Self installed boss mani complete!

The install was very easy just alil time consuming. Took me four hours to complete the install of mani, CAI, and tune. The car pulls harder through out the rpm range and especially hard from 4k and up! Very happy with the boss mani setup worth the money!

Hey quick question. Is your warranty still protected if you installed the boss manifold yourself?? Ive been looking into this myself but haven't received a straight answer from my dealer in regards to warranty protection.

My dealer is cool as long as none of my mods cause the problem

any warranty claim that is caused from a mod will not be covered. if the mani is installed and your window stops working-covered. engine light comes on from manifold gasket leak with boss mani-not covered. most dealers are cool. some are total butt heads. mod with care ir you concerned.

Hello vmilax2007,

My name is Deysha from Ford Customer Service. baggerben is correct. Aftermarket parts will not automatically void any of your warranties. However, if they cause a concern, that specific repair will not be covered. You can refer to your Warranty Guide on page 13 for further info. I still recommend you speak to your Ford dealer first.

I have something to compare to have a friend with just AB's , CAI, and tune and I drove his car And still didn't find with the boss I loss anything. If anything pulls the same as his at low rpm's but 4k and up my car pulls harder no doubt! He even admitted my car pulls harder at 4k and better! After the LT's and x pipe go on and dyno tune you can say what u want but my car will be a beast. Check this out this is at cruzin the coast buddy is full Bolton witch mods are AB's, LT's , x pipe, boss mani, CAI, and dyno tune. This is his time slip
