Question ROYAL PURPLE vs AMSOIL

I been using Royal Purple Full Synthetic 5W-20W oil and their Extended Life Filters in my 2013 GT since new. A friend suggested I try Amsoil oil and their filters. The Amsoil is $45.00 Gallon, Filter is $14.50. I pay $38.00 for Royal Purple oil and $9.00 for the Filter.

Anyone here using Amsoil products? What do you think? Is it worth the switch?

The only way you will truly see a difference if you use both for similar mileage/conditions and then have it analyzed.

I am sure everyone will have their own preference but I am using amsoil in my 2011 and I am happy with it. The previous owner was using Mobil 1 and I did not notice any difference after the switch. I have also been running amsoil in my daily driver Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi and have been happy with it here too.

I purchase the amsoil in a case of (4) 1 gallon containers at a time so it cuts the cost down a little.

Filters

Amsoil & RP filters are one in the same made by Champion. Buy the one you can get the cheapest.
I prefer Amsoil based on my Blackstone analysis I get done & tons of opinions I've researched.

Royal Purple for me because I can buy it in a store and I don't have to wait for it to ship. Plus it cost less for a quality oil. I'd be lucky to get 6000 miles on a change so it doesn't make much difference for me. I mean the oil has to be good for at least 30,000 miles and I'm only putting on 6000 between each change.
I look at the inside of my motoyrs and they look shiny and new, so I'm happy.
If Amsoil were more affordable I'd try it.
I started with Mobil 1 and made the switch to Royal Purple. Happy so far.
Good air filters are probably just as important if not more. Keep the engine clean and happy.

Both top notch oil, I use AMsoil in the s197, and the RP in my diesel grand Cherokee.
