Roush or Saleen grille??

Got a 2011 5.0 and I'm looking for a cleaner look up front. I'm more than likely gonna get the boss/cs front valance and splitter but I can't decide on the grille. Any feedback from anyone who has either saleen or roush would be appreciated.

The Roush grille is billet and the Saleen one is plastic. Both are high quality and look great. It's personal preference in my opinion but I'd go with the Saleen one.

Roush. It's better. No I don't have any data to back this claim, I just think it's better. No cardboard wedging or alteration required to make it fit, so it's a winner to me.

I have the roush grill and I love the way it looks, that said putting it in was a bit of a pain but overall I think it looks better, I don't care for the way the pillars are in the saleen. Roush also make it out of metal so that's a big plus in my book

I have the Saleen, I just clipped it right on. It took 15 minutes, I have heard from others that some shimming was needed but I didn't have that issue so I dont know.

Depends on the look that you want. The Saleen is plastic and will blend in with the plastic CS front valance well. It also appears to protrude forward more for an aggressive look. But the Rousch is steel and breaks up the plastic front end look. It appears to be more flush for a more traditional mean sleeper look. The Saleen has its own frame while the Rousch uses the stock frame. You can't go wrong with either!

He speaks truths that no man can deny. Either grill looks good. The Saleen is more modern but still fits the car. The Roush is more retro. I went with the Roush because I have the Roush fascia and wanted the lower grill, so I went with the uppper as well so it would all match. But I was considering the Saleen as well for a while. Its all your preference. And the Saleen does go very well with the CS front fascia.

I went with the Roush grill as well, but only because I couldn't find any info on how any of them attached to the front end. If I could do it over I'd have opted for the Saleen because it is more plug and play where the Roush is a bit more involved to install. As stated though you can't go wrong with either and it's all in what you prefer (5 bar vs 7 bar).

Everyone's got an opinon....heres mine:

Car with HID's needs the ROUSH grille
With std headlights get the SALEEN

Here's the reason:
The Turn signal lights on the standard car are on the inside which flows well with the SALEEN grill design (Look at the vertical side pieces of the saleen grille)

The HID styled lights put the signals on the outside which throws off the flow of the SALEEN grille to me, hence the reason for a different style grille choice with teh HID's.

Either way I'm torn on which if any grille to get for my car with HID's....but it won't be the SALEEN.

I've been up and down this road and I am still not sure which one I like better.

Roush

Roush with running pony emblem

Saleen

Right now the Saleen grille is currently on the car, but I still think that the Roush without the grille emblem looks the best.
