It's interesting on the Borla products, I understand that they have a loyal following and many people like the sound, but I was talking to my Muffler shop guy who has been racing cars and installing mufflers over 40 years and he won't recommend Borla, even though he is a Borla dealer. He cites quality control issues and pricing as the main reasons, of course that is just his opinion.
I am not a fan of the Borla sound, sounds a little like a tin can to me, but that of course is just my opinion

LOL... that's too funny. I actually do find myself googling my own car. Funny how that works out.

I do the same thing every once in a while, I think it's funny... Anyway, I guess I can throw my $.02 in on the Roush axle back. If axle back is all you're going to do, then the Roush is a good choice at a good price. My main gripe is that if I want to do headers or just remove the cats or resonators, I'm going to have to swap out the mufflers too because the Roush get too raspy. When I do headers, I'll opt for the Borla S Type at the same time.

Interesting... in all my research and feedback from folks who have Borlas or had heard Borlas, sounding like a "tin can" could not be farther from the truth. Not sure what the basis is on that... but that's ok, to each his own. You are the only one that I've heard this from. However, I respect the differences in opinion.

I agree, I have heard a lot of people like the Borla but it's not for me , maybe my ears are weird, the popularity of the muffler is obvious, so I am the oddball.

I enjoy the sound of Roush..

ANYONE LOOKING FOR A BRAND NEW MAGNAFLOW AXLEBACK KIT FOR CHEAP?

I ordered a brand new system in the mail direct from Magnaflow for my 3.7L and sadly totaled out the Mustang the very next week.

Hit me up at KRthisfall@gmail.com if you're interested.. My loss is your gain!

Please excuse the dumb newb question, but, does this fit under the stock rear valence/trim?

I love my Roush Axlebacks. That was the first mod (along with Roush CAI) I did on my '14 Mustang. I have since replaced the Roush CAI with a Steeda, but I can't imagine changing my Roush Axleback. Beastly sounding!

Yes it is raspy, but that's ok, it's a mean rasp.

On another note, anyone running these on a 'Vert? Are they ridiculous with the top down?

You are welcome. It is an awesome sounding exhaust. It is very loud on a cold start though. My fiancée hates it when I start it up in the morning because the carport is on the side of the house where our bedroom is and it wakes her up.

I just installed my Roush axle backs after much debate, and listening to tons of audio clips. While I have not heard the GT500's(what I was considering), I can say that the Roush are awsome! I drive my 14 GT 125 miles daily. I've noticed no drone, no raspiness, or crackling. They are very tamed at cruise, but when you get in it, they are beasts! No regret whatsoever!

Installed it. Incredible... LOVE this exhaust.

Just a word of advice! The hardest part was actually getting the mufflers on and off the hangers, use WD40 and it becomes 10x easier!

Easy install, fantastic sound.

It's Awesome! I've had mine for little over a month now. Drove around for over an hour after installation. I love to roll the windows down and listen to the growl.
