Congrats! And welcome to the dark side. It's nice over here, as you will see

Just take your time on the install. I can't speak for the Roush install and instructions, but I'd think they are all similar to others. Just bring a couple of buddies, beer, and pizza, and knock it out over the weekend. That's what we did.

Well it arrived today. I was reading through the instructions and they do not do a good job explaining the steps for the automatic transmission cooling lines.

You can do the lines 2 ways, either removing the bracket closes to the radiator and relocating them or use the hose that came with the kit to relocate the one line. It will take sometime, but move the lines and install the bracket and that will tell you how much more you need to move them towards the passenger side.

Awesome man, congrats! Since i'm pretty much going to be finishing up my other mods, my plan is to also go with a Roush stage 1 within the next 2 years.

Is there a good video online or an article that does a good job? I have looked and haven't found anything great. I figured there would have been a few to do a good job documenting the install.

A few mustang magazines had feature article doing the install. Mustang and fast fords was one and if search Google vmp or roush install you should get several hits.

I have the pdf install for the vmp kit so if you PM me your email I can send it to you. It is a little more in depth than the roush.

Does anyone have any pics of how the heat exchanger is mounted?

The instructions kind of suck though this part. I have been searching high and low on the internet but the 2015 install video's are already dominating the net. LOL

Does the heat exchange get mounted in between the radiator and the AC condenser?

My HE got mounted on the backside of the bumper support so that would be in front of the condenser.

So. My install is almost complete. I say almost because my kit was short the pump bracket. Of course I called Roush and they are closed until Monday. That said My install is complete with the exception of mounting the pump. I did install the heat exchanger, and all of the hoses, etc. What a bummer.

I just bought a used roush tvs kit myself. It will be arriving next week. Excited and nervous about installing it. The guy sold it with a 79 mm, 82 mm, and 85 mm pulley and the jlt intake. I'm thinking 82mm should be a good starting point

Any tricks I should know during installation?

P.S.
I was going with a centri but got a good deal on this and it was a no brainer.. Instant torque !!!!

forgot to ask.. MY car is a convertible. I've searched and haven't seen too many options for the strut tower brace. Will the 2011+ GT500 brace fit with t he roush and jlt intake?

The install went well. I was nervous about cutting the timing cover, but it was a piece of cake. I can make one recommendation. Purchase the VMP wiring harness kit. It will make the install go much more simply.

I am not certain if the GT500 brace will fit. That's a great question.

Does that take care of the de-pinning that I read about?

Yes it will take care of that with the exception of a small wiring mod for the ACT sensor. The kit is $149 and it is worth it.

I can tell you the 07~09 GT500 STB will fit but I'm not sure about any other versions.

Much appreciated. The only other option that I found that said it would work is the $300 steeda brace.. You saved me some $$$
