Prototype build and installed pictures 3" Dynomax exhaust (PICTURES)
These photos are from The Dynomax prototype fabrication center here in MI.
They took my stock exhaust off the car and used a device called a Romer to create CAD data off of an existing part in order to create a 3" system that would have no clearance issues in the VERY tight area near the rear axle. The new CAD data is then sent to the fab shop where a tech uses those prints to create a prototype and thats what this photo series depicts.
here is a image of a romer for reference (image from google)

I dont have a sound clip yet, but its LOUD (like wake the dead loud). This is their Race Bullet setup. 3" mid-pipes and into a 3" axle back.
DISCLAIMER: their race bullet system is advertised as the loudest they make
and they tell you up front it will drone, if you want a non-drone system order their oval body mufflers.
Part #: 39505
Pricing is coming soon, available Feb 1, 2011 as they are now ramping up for a production run off the templates created on this build

Sweet set of pics! Those pipes are huge! I've heard this in person, and as Shaun says, it's loud! From inside the car it has a very unique tone, and it does drone at 1800-2100 RPM. From outside the car hearing the car pull away it sounds very "racy."
IMHO, so far all the exhausts I've heard for the Coyote all sound a bit "off." I can't explain it any better than that. Maybe I am just so used to hearing the older Mod motors, I don't know. But this Coyote just does not have that classic "Mustang" sound to it. It's more like a European V8, like the BMW, with a high-revving pitch to it.

quick question.....with your car on the ground with it being lowered is there plenty of clearance over the rear axle so the pipes arent hitting the axle? i only as because my magnaflow 3incher is hitting my axle. Evolution Perf has come to the conclusion that there is a prob with my kit and are supposed to fix it with a new kit on thursday when i have long tubes n x-pipe installed. I was just curious with your car how it is. thanks in advance.
i wanna hear wake the dead loud on video.

Well sir your going to be the Third twin then! After seeing his car i went and placed my order for a 2012 grabber blue 5.0 . And I hope stinger doesn't mind but I'm ordering that roush front fascia and painting it identical before the car even gets here! I hate that I have to copy someone to make my car look so jaw dropping but he did a hell of a job with the front end of his car

Lucky for you Shaun I like the Steeda fascia just as much
are these for sale for 2011's yet? Where can I buy 3" over axle pipes.

I now have audio clips of this from in the car, outside the car, partial throttle and full throttle gears 1-4.
problem, they are burried in audio files with 10 minutes of other crap. Does anyone know whwre I can find a free audio editing software that I can use to chop up this BIG clip??????
