Looks great! It comes up higher than stock, hard to believe that it clears under the hood.

Yes, I agree. The first time I closed the hood after the install I did it very slowly to make sure it was not going to hit the hood. It clears it OK but it could not be much room left between the brace and the hood. I believe the brace is tall enough for the BOSS 302 intake should I decide to do that down the road. I just put it on yesterday.

Was thinking of going body-colored on mine but that chrome looks great. Stop making my decisions harder!

I have seen the body color and it looks fine but, I think the chrome really stands out.
Thanks!

What kind of paint did you use on the coil covers, they look great (so does the brace)

Thanks!
I used Krylon Fusion spray paint. Got it from Wal-mart for under $5. I applied a total of 5 coats and still had paint left. The key is to start with light coats and make each coat a little heavier until you get solid coverage. Don't forget to clean the surface prior to painting. I used mineral spirits for cleaning.

Also make sure to clean out the letters very well. And a thin coat of primer never hurts but light coats are the key like he stated.

Thanks, I did paint mine with Dupli-color high temp engine paint I had laying around for years, I also used pre-cleaner and plastic primer and applied several light coats, you's looks like is has more gloss, I may spray some clear on mine sometime, I did them last summer just before a storm was about to hit so it was pretty humid out and they kept hazing up. They turned out ok but I really like how yours looks.

Nothing wrong with the paint that you used. Humidity is not a friend to drying paint. Not surprised that it kept hazing up. Thanks for the comments.
