Pcv breather?????
#2
Big mistake. I would never recommend it. First of all you're deleting the PCV system which is a no no but I was fine with that.
The problem was I had oil vapors in my engine bay that would make its way into the cabin through the AC or heater. Plus the passenger side breather became saturated and the excess oil would seep from the breather into the coil area and spark plug head down below. Eventually running down the side of the head and block.
I would run from these.
That's just my honest real world use opinion.

I've been running breathers for about 3k miles now with no issues. YMMV... I installed my Airaid CAI and was surprised at how much oil had accumulated in the intake in 12k miles. The passenger side PCV was dripping oil when I took it off. If I do have any issues I'll change to a catch can like Bob's...

If these are absolutely necessary especially with forced induction then how come ford doesn't incorporate them in their engine designs? Roush doesn't add a oil sep when they do their superchargers as well. Just curious.

Take a look at the Boss 302S. It has breathers from the factory. Of course the 302S can't be licensed for the street.
