Options When Ordering New?

So, i'm planning on ordering a new Mustang this coming weekend... the last year of this generation.
What I'm ordering will be a
2014 DIB Premium GT (6-Speed)
Options: GT Track Package & Leather Recaros

What I'm wondering though is, since they're offered by Ford, can I have a mustang built with optional add-ons instead of OEM parts?
Such as...
GT500 Spoiler, Boss Front splitter, Full length 8" Silver stripes, and possibly GT500 exhaust and diffuser?

Thanks in advance!

I know I could have them put on.. I'm just wondering if they can do it before it even gets to the dealer to save me installation costs.

No they'll have to be ordered by you or the dealer and then installed once the car arrives unfortunately.

I believe the stripes are available on the order but they are still dealer installed, and as stated above, all the rest would have to be ordered separately and installed post delivery. You may be able to get it all rolled into the financing though.

That makes sense....
Yeah I really just don't want to pay the extra waste of installation. Not to mention... I don't want to have a bunch of extra brand new parts laying around...

After I find out the details then it comes down to just making the final decision...
I've already changed my mind enough... Going from looking at a used '11 Shelby or a used '12 Boss to, now, a new GT with track package... cheaper and newer...

I don't think I'll like the new Mustang too much... but then again... shedding 400lbs+... Shorter wheel base... sounding kinda cool..
I just dont know.. I dont really want to trade up again in two years...

Just now payed attention to the fact you are in Houston.

My car came from Champion Ford(Autonation Ford) in Katy, they have been keeping some premium GT's in stock with the Track Pack and leather Recaros in stock.

Call out there and ask for Janey in the internet sales, she sold me my car and she will get you a good deal and you probably won't have to order one, probably one on the lot to suit you. (281) 305-8949

I had my gt500 and valance installed at the dealer as soon as it arrived. I talked them into installing a set of used ones that I got off ebay. They had it ready to go in a few hours. I just added the cost on the total amount of the car.

I looked at Katy's online inventory and didn't find anything... I'd rather not order, but It's looking to be the only way to get exactly what I want.

Hmm... I may though get some parts done at the dealer and, yeah, just add them on with the rest! Not a bad Idea, I may just see if I can negotiate installation...

I still suggest you call Janey at Autonation Katy, talk to her and see if they have a car at another dealer that they can bring in, they have dealerships all over the country.

With the current incentives from Ford you'll be better off buying an existing car.

i had purchased my 2013 dib had got stripes, GT500 exhaust and diffuser put in by Tommy Vaughn... they are official ford racing parts dealer, so if you want u can have tune + cai all installed... they have body shop as well... regarding prices, they will be highly negotiable before you sign the contract.

Yeah. Don't pay anywhere near msrp for the ford racing parts. If your dealer won't negotiate then give tousley ford a call, they have awesome prices on all those parts.

Wow... I'm feeling better about this now. I'd like to at least be able to do stripes and GT500 Exhaust and i'm starting to think this is more possible.
Thanks again!

Those red Brembo's do look quite good...

Good luck to the OP with the purchase - I drove a Boss 302 LS edition prior to buying my car. Definitely had a little more top end and had a little more solid feel suspension wise, but for the $ I saved doing the GT with Recaros and Track Pack, I got as close to the Boss as possible and have a significantly smaller car payment to support a few upgrades that I probably would have ended up wanting on the Boss anyways (track worthy suspension, brake cooling, additional set of wheels/tires, eventually tuning).

Might I suggested Grabber Blue - I really love it, although I was a big nervous at first it would be "too much"

Hey, I saw you were looking at switching exhausts. Did you get the standard GT500 Axle-Backs, or the upgraded ones?

If standard, does anyone know how the upgraded ones sound?

I do love that color (I actually think I'd be happy with any color currently offered) but I'm more stuck between Race Red, Silver, & DIB.
I've had Silver before and it's great because any accent color goes with it. Plus it doesn't show scratches or much dirt. And in Texas, it's cooler.
Red is always tempting, sporty, eye catching... Just classic.
DIB though, not very common, dark and still somewhat elegant, Yet makes the other colors really pop (like black does).
Plus, DIB looks so good at dusk with the HIDs on.

Btw,
Thanks for all the responses!
I've been debating what to do car wise for about 6 months now and am finally winding it down. Since my A/C went out, twice. I am tired of my current out of warranty mustang and will probably buy the extended and such for the next mustang. I should have sold this one months ago before the $1500 repair bill on a one year old car, 4k out of warranty. Anyways...
Again thanks for all the feedback!
