Oil Change - Track Day

Getting ready for my first track day on the 13th. My oil life monitor shows 15%. Should I go ahead and change the oil now before track day or wait until after?

Definitely change it before the track day, and depending on who you talk to you should change it after as well.

I was kind of leaning towards doing it before.

I'm swapping brake fluid this Friday and putting on the race pads next Friday...well might just do it all this Friday. The long range forecast shows rain almost every day until track day so I won't be driving it anyway. Just need to take it out one day to bed the brakes properly. So far no rain for the track weekend (it's actually two days the 13th and 14th) is expected.

I would change before and after just for safe measure. Full fluid change before as well.
I've got an auto-x event goin on (small local deal) this weekend and i just changed my oil last weekend. I might have younger new tires after because I'm already running low on tread on the rear /:

If you have track rotors and pads have you seasoned the rotors as well, if not you would want to do that also before bedding the pads.

On my car, the oil life monitor seems to be set for something north of 9,000 miles. If your car is similar - you might be 8,000 miles since your last change?
Are you using a full synthetic?
Even with great oil and a huge sump, that's a lot of miles - track day or not. I'm a little old school, 3-5k.
