NOS for 2011-14 mustang gt
What is the safest way to add some NOS to my 2011 mustang gt? I have heard go with a wet system and stay at 100 shot and I should be fine. I have a manual. Does anyone have experience? Safety is my #1 concern.
Thanks

Your plan is fine, use a plate kit over a nozzle and buy a proper tune for the spray. With a manual, you will want at least a window switch to prevent exploding the motor if you hit the limiter by missing a shift.

I hear with a wet system the tune is fairly easy but with the dry system it is more difficult. I have free tunes for life with Bama. Who would you recommend? I will defiantly get the window switch and a purge system and maybe a heater.

Your "free tunes for life" scam won't cover a power adder. Bama doesn't have a good skill base for nitrous applications; that's why they won't tune for more than 100. 100 shot wet on a Coyote is pretty easy. Lund, JPC, BBR, all can handle this easily. I have a BBR 100 shot on an NX plate and it made 99 out of 100 promised horsepower on its first shakedown pass.
Minimum things needed: a bottle pressure gauge, a heater, the window switch bc of the manual trans. Purge is optional but a nice add on bc it's hard to access lines and fittings for a manual purge. Depending on the track and installation location, you might need a blowdown tube.

Crap. I do not believe nozzle is the way to go on these cars. There are too many distribution problems in the manifold. Plate is a bit better at this stuff. Anything is ok at 100 but, for more, you want a plate at least or direct port.

Thanks for the info. I will go with 75-100 shot with a plate

The plate with integrated solenoids is good for up to ~150 safely. NX p/n 20948-10
Beyond that, you may wish to consider the plate system with separated Lightning solenoids. NX p/n 20951-10
Really depends on what your goals are. Don't go 75 though, at this time; you won't feel it. 100 minimum.
