Noob question regarding Diablosport InTune Vs. SCT X3
Hey guys,
So, will all the recent chatter regarding the Diablosport InTune & its "zero trace" capability, I'm certainly getting more curious. Now my question is, are tune "files" that are written by tuners cross-compatible with both platforms? Or does the InTune require the files to be written in its own "language" prior to loading on the tuner? For instance, say I wanted a customer email tune from insert tuner here could I not take that file they give me and upload it into any tuner? I guess what I'm trying to ask is, are files not in a universal language, e.g. pdf, excel, word, etc? My understanding is that both tuners serve the same function - PCM flashing, but just the method in which they do it is slightly different.
I apologize if this has been discussed already.
Thanks,
SGA

Great question as I want to tune as well this spring and looking at these same two tuners. I have 6000 miles on mine, don't mind voiding my warranty, but would be nice to keep. I hope to learn more. Thanks for posting.

I have no idea for certain, but I would guess their code would be written to check the tuner type and fail if it isnt correct, forcing you to use their tuner. Not a dumb question.
