Need advice on upgrading rotors and pads.I bought
the Hawk ceramic pads and was planning on buying dimpled/slotted silver zinc rotors from Brake Performance but the salesman didn't recommend me using the ceramic pads with these rotors. He said go with semi metallic pads because the ceramics will damage the rotors. Anyone hear of this? My car is for everyday only and maybe a few 1/4 mile runs. Should I just stick with new factory pads or buy Hawks OES pads? Thoughts on all??
