My 12' RR GT Build Thread. Finally.
My 12' RR GT Build Thread. Finally.
Hey fellow members, I think im finally ready to start a build thread, after 13 months of ownership. instead of starting new threads for mods i do, ill just keep posting updates on this one.
Introduction:
Ive Been on several mustang forums for almost 2 years now, when i first started looking into trading in my 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe that my parents had gotten me for my HS graduation gift. I had planned to stay in the luxury import and had my eyes set on a BMW 335i coupe. Soon work and errands got me thinking that I would definitely find a truck to be a DD for my life style. I started comparing trucks and not too long after Ford introduced the Ecoboost models. I negotiated with 3 dealers in the Houston area to find the best deal on a Black FX4 Ecoboost F150 with the luxury pkg. The day finally came, and my family set out to purchase the truck. As soon as we finished the test drive my dad noticed a Red candy apple prem. 11' GT sitting in the used lot and told me he wanted to look at it. we both ended up test driving it and my dad ended up convincing me that the f150 would just end up being another truck on the road while the stang would still turn heads for years to come. a couple days later i found a dealer who had 2 base auto 12' GTs with great discounts. a white with tan cloth and a red with black cloth. i had planned on getting a kona blue or blk stang but couldn't wait any longer so went ahead and purchased the red one for 28k before taxes. and well 13 months later...

That is a singularly great looking mustang. I was originally interest in red but when I went to galpin, they had none. One drive of my kona beast and I was hooked. But **** red is sexy.

Absolutely stunning car Naeem, not that you didn't already know.......
I particularly like what you did with the lower front fascia. It should have been that way from the factory on day one.
Congrats on the car and everything that you've had done to it. It really is fantastic.

D@mn sexy! Interior shots? I think the only thing it needs is a tribar emblem on the grille, offset. Or, the Saleen grille, painted the same as you have it now, with one of those black/red 5.0L emblems to fill the rectangle where the Saleen emblem would go.
i actually just replaced my saleen grill with the roush one. the problem with the saleen was the textured plastic, first i would have to sand it down, primer it, then paint the grill stacks gloss black and then the surround red, which is way to much work lol and i plan on getting a tribar pony grill as soon as AM has them in stock!
thanks DAN. 95% of the upgrades were purchased from AM. ill soon be posting pics and reviews on yalls website!
