MSD Shift light

Anyone install a MSD shift-light on there 5.0 coyote? I was wondering were you mounted your light. I was thinking under the steering wheel on the left side

I haven't installed one yet, but I'm definitely thinking of purchasing one! I'm just trying to decide between the boss triple gauge pod for the centre dash, or a single, dual or triple A pillar gauge pod.

But my car is stock with no supercharger or turbo yet. So why should I even get gauges? To me that's like slapping an SS badge on a non supercharged car.

But I do like the aesthetics of those gauges.

Any info on what gauges I can run stock?

Go to Youtube and type in Mustang Stampede MSD shift light. He has a 5 part video series of his shift light installation.

MSD shift light is junk. It will not pick up rpm from the tach.

I picked up my tach signal for my nitrous controller from the #1 coil negative wire.

I had an intermittent off signal from the #1 coil. Called MSD to confirm. I had to return then the second one would not pic it up. I'm frustrated and returning today. It was the purple greenish wire.
