Moonshine additive
I don't know all the technicalities, but I'm pretty sure our Mustangs are set up to run up to 10% ethanol max, or maybe 15%.
More than that can be done, but it requires major re-tuning; as I understand it the air/fuel mix needs to be a lot richer with higher ethanol content.

If you wanted to go E85, I found an article on LMR on how to convert to E85, which definitely agrees on a tune but also needs the fuel system upgraded so the ethanol doesn't eat the rubber

Like I said in that other thread, pretty much not gonna put homebrew in any engine I run, 'ceptin' lawnmower or maybe a diesel... something that won't much care the quality of fuel and will still run. These computer cars won't much like experiments and it'd be pretty costly to have it do bad things(tm) to 'em. They ain't like an ol' 289 or such, and definitely doing head work isn't like those days.
For what this paranoid person's perspective is worth... probably $1.03 a year...
