6 hours, but you have a '13 and I don't think I have heard anything on them releasing it on a 13.

beware:

They absolutely positively refuse to do a bamacam tune unless you've jiggered with your midpipes.

I learned the hard way by purchasing their tuner, this week only to have to turn around and purchase tunes from Steeda.

I don't intend to mod my car to the moon. I've had MULTIPLE cammed cars that either had stock cats or high-flow cats on them and they ran just fine for years. Unfortunately AM/Bama doesn't want to allow this.

Not talking bad about Bama at all, just trying to keep others aware of this.

One 10 minute call to Steeda (while my car was stranded on the side of the road, of course) will at least have the tune I want installed on my car, coming to my car later this week sometime.

Here's hoping it'll accept the stock tune (after being stranded on the side of the road TWICE now in the last two hours)

I might mention that my GTO NEVER had an issue ever with HP Tuners. Not even once. Not the fault of the tuners. I just wish something more reliable existed.

^Well there's your problem^

A cam idle tune is not the same as a cammed car.

I'm sure you knew that, That is interesting though that Bama refuses to do a cam idle tune if you have stock cats.

I just ordered a new set of tunes from Bama the other day and requested for the 93 octace race tune to have the cam idle.

They never said anything as to if the tune they sent has the cam idle or not. I suppose I'll need to load it up and test it out.

Just wish they would have said something one way or the other. Ya know?

right. no complaints here, just wanting to save others the effort of chewing out a poor AM/Bama rep. I feel bad about it, but at you know how it is. you feel that you want to bark at someone.

For sure. I know exactly what you mean.

Just yesterday I couldn't wait to get home form work because I knew I had a new tune waiting in my email (not the one from Bama). So I rush home to try out the new tune just to find out it was written with the wrong SCT device S/N. Had to wait till the next day. This was actually the 2nd time this has happened with this same tuner, not going to name them because the tunes are great.
I also had to go back and forth 3 times with Steeda because they kept putting the wrong ECM code in the tune.
Bama is the only one i've never had issues with.

Anyways all i'm trying to say is I know the frustration you're talking about.

i guess for now I'll have the Bama tunes for regular operation, and the Steeda for the cam idle.

Just wish they would have let it go, and let it be how i wanted. But I understand their point too.

Well well well, turns out they decided to send me a cam idle tune back anyway for the stock mid pipe.... Interesting. Seems like the car is too quiet at idle anyway to really hear it though like you might a louder car.

I'm guessing because the unburned fuel from overlap damages the cats.

Well I did manage to take a nice clip of the exhaust. Then I went to see if I could change any parameters (by going to the strategy tune part) and now I'm stranded for the fourth time today. Won't return to stock. Won't do anything, won't read the computer. Just sits there forever saying "unlocking ecu."

This already makes me want to not screw with this crap at all.

Key IS ON.

That sucks. I'm having good luck with my tuner, waiting on the cam idle tune to be sent out. Post up the sound clip when you can.
