Intake Swap? GT350 Intake into 11-14 GT

Any knowledge on this subject at all? Has anyone considered or tried this swap? GT350 intake into 11-14 GT.

Wonder if this mod would produce any + numbers that would be better or equal to the boss or cobra intakes.

What do you guys think?

Well it works on the 15-16 GT, but have not yet heard if it would work on a 11-14, engines are the same, but there might be just one or few changes here and there that might not work? Dont know, check the mustang6g forum, there is more info about the GT350 intake swaps.

Plenty of discussion here and not an easy task. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?1097701-GT350-manifold-on-a-11-14-engine

I already have a thread on this here. It won't work on the 11-14 cars though. Just get the SCJ setup.

I'd buy it from Whitebear Ford. $1400 shipped for the whole kit.

Thanks for the info Laserred! Do you know any of the numbers (performance) for this kit?

Call up Mike R. in parts and tell him you're a forum member. He'll put it all together for you. I forget the part number but FRPP does have a kit that includes everything. I would've ordered it by now if I didn't just spend $2700 out of pocket for my 2yo's dental work

So the whole kit includes, intake manifold, throttle body and new intake? That's a pretty good deal.

It is for a GT350 Intake kit. FRPP should be coming out with a kit soon from what I am told.

I am still iffy on this. I think one of the main reasons this works so well is because of the IMRC being able to change the airflow through the runners so by removing it on the 11-14 cars I think we are going to be seeing something similar to the CJ manifold.

Just to be clear so far the consensus is the GT350 intake swap into a 11-14 GT may not be possible! We are now talking about the CJ intake kit that is available for 11-14 GT's.

Doh! My mistake ... carry on gents. For what it is worth JPC Racing recommended the JLT intake over the FRPP CAI. I'm guessing due to the larger MAF size, but I didn't really question them on it haha.

Funny, Shaun at AED told me it's not worth the extra cost over the FRPP CAI...

I own a 2014 Cali special and have a gt350 manifold installed on it , 100% worth it . Got the manifold for around 300$ from a buddy and don’t regret waiting one dime ! Great little power maker over stock manifold

From everything I've seen in my searches, a ported Cobra Jet is still the highest performing manifold. Just make sure you get the monoblade throttle body to go with it.
