Impressions: Livernois Tune
Quick impressions: I loaded my new Livernois 93 octane tune today. I was running the BAMA 93 Race tune prior. I've got to say that this tune is a definite improvement: power delivery is smooth all the way to redline and it pulls great. My bama tune felt a bit hesitant from 5K - 6K. No such problems with the Livernois tune.
As far as customer service, I couldn't ask for anything more really. Rick at Livernois was great to work with. I asked him a ton of questions and he answered everything promptly and thoroughly.
Highly recommended.
Oh, and he sent me his "idle lope" tune - sounds cool and whatnot, but I prefer the drivability of the stock idle.
Just my $0.02

I, too, have the Livernois 93 octane tune and LOVE it! I've tried the lopey idle tune and I, too, prefer the drivability of the "regular" 93 octane tune. It doesn't help that my entire exhaust system is stock.

It has the same affect at lower RPMs as putting bigger cams in the car would. With that rough idle the power delivery is choppy, there are some complaints about it with the MT but autos are complaining about it a bit more.

I'll try - the power delivery feels really strange from idle to about 1500RPM, the car shakes a bit at idle, reversing and then throwing it in neutral the idle drops really low (feels like it's going to stall out) and then it catches and starts "loping." I dunno - wasn't for me... mind you, I've never driven a cammed car so I'm diggin a normal idle. My car is a 99% street car.

+1 for Livernois. They were fantastic to deal with for the FRPP testing that I did at their place, and I am very strongly considering them for my Boss 302 mani + Steeda CAI tune down the road.

Just testin out the new video cam... and to give you an impression of the tune. 1st pull was 1st and top of 2nd, 2nd pull was 2nd gear and top of 3rd. Weee.
