HP with these mods?

So i have already have had some work done to my 12' gt. Right now i have the steeda CAI, 93 tune, and borla axlebacks mufflers.

Now in about a week or two im going back to get kooks long tube headers, and a x-pipe with hi-flow cats. They told me to go with hi flow cats because since im getting the long tube headers the cat delete would be super loud. Any thoughts on the cat delete vs. hi flow cats? Anyways can someone tell me what kinda of hp this mustang should be making. Also im getting the tri-axe shifter, but thats not gonna affect hp tho :P, just my shifting haa.

Also any other mods you can suggest to get more hp keeping the motor N/A, would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,
Ricky

You have some good mods going!!! get ready for a little more volume with the longtubes

even with HF cats it will get loud at WOT but you can quiet it down by changing to a chambered muffler like the stock or GT500.

you should be up around 420rwhp with these mods give or take and that's about it for bolt on's.Next is the supercharger lol

IMHO, I don't think u would feel the HP difference between the two with a basic bolt on setup. I went catless to prep for FI (both for power gains and safety).

Yeah, i also see you went with the 1 7/8" long tube headers, instead of the 1 3/8", so you planning on making some big hp?

How about the BOSS 302 intake.. that should juice it up some for ya..I've been reading and hearing #'s of 40HP or more.. Which doesn't make much sense to me since the Boss is throwing 440ish.. Any thoughts on that one ?

You are not getting 40rwhp with the Boss intake. Most of the power is up top and most say they feel a loss in torque. This is a good mod if you are going to run your car above 6500 but for a street car its worthless.

Def not a worthless mod IMO... And nobody ever said 40 to the wheel except this dude... I noticed quite a difference when I installed mine... But it's a diff above 5000 rpm and I did a tune at the same time...

My boy put it on his auto and it did not add much peak hp. The car really lost a lot of low end power. He ended up taking it off. Only gained 10rwhp. All these mods you spend hundreds of $'s on and only gain 10 rwhp. Better just getting a 100-150 shot of NOS.

Prob helps that I'm in a manual w/ 3.73s... In hindsight I don't regret doing mine cuz I got it for $340 and installed it myself. I'd def rather have NOS but that's a whole diff world... Know anybody personally who's put NOS on a 5.0? Every one I've seen has just been in magazines/online...

Sorry if I was misleading... I didn't state RWHP only HP..

And actually as I looked up more info

http://www.americanmuscle.com/boss-i...ld-2011gt.html

Gain Up to 58 RWHP. Bolt on up to 58 RWHP and 40 ft-lb torque with the Ford Racing BOSS 302 Manifold. We dyno tested this system in house on our stock 2011-2012 GT with just a JLT cold air intake, so you can be confident you'll see real gains from this manifold.

I still don't buy it..

Most of the power from the boss 302 intake is upt op and you get alot of low and mid drop. I use mine as a street car for now so getting that intake would prob harm me really. My family also owns a boss 302 that has the intake, and yes it is a different feel to the car, it revs up quicker past the 5k mark and just keeps reving, but for a street car imho i wouldn't get it.

Ya... I can tell you from owning it that that is BS from American muscle... Still a worthy mod IMO... Other than CAI and tune I can't think of a better mod under $400... No apologies necessary... I misread and thought u said rwhp
