GT500 Axle Back on 2013 GT/CS?

Can anyone confirm that the GT500 style axle back mufflers (m-5230-mgtca1) fit the 2013 California Special valance? I'd just like to be sure before I order.
Thanks!

Thanks!
The rear fascia should not be any different than a regular 2013 GT, and the GT500 mufflers do, in fact fit just fine.

Don't forget to cut the resonators off when installing the axle back.

The valance is actually quite different on the California Special. I was just wondering if there's any weird issues I should know about, like maybe the exhaust tips protruding out too much.

I guess since they have the same stock mufflers there shouldn't be any issue! Time to order!

Thanks for the responses.

Fits perfectly. Also painted them before installing.

Go with stainless works!!! You get what you pay for. Buy once, cry once. Want something that sounds THE best? Go with SW. I have just the SW catback on my car 2013 GT/CS, and it blows away the competition. EVERYONE turns and looks at my car as I drive by.

I don't know about the '11-12 GT500 mufflers, but Magnaflow Street Series Axle-back (part# 15151), which are designed for the 2013, fit perfect!

I have to admit I don't know much about working on cars. But what does the resonator do and what does it look like. Also what happens when you take it off.

They are just in front of the rear end (inline little bombs) you cant miss them. The car sounds much better without them.I have gt500 a/b with the res delete(3inch pipe welded in)and they sound 100% better deleted then with just the axle back. Those little suckers also weigh about ten pounds each!

This, there's only positives to removing them.

Yep, the resonators serve no purpose other than to quiet the exhaust.

Will removing the resonators improve the stock exhaust if so would it sound better than the Roush? Does anybody have a sound video?

Your gonna want to do both, just trying to save you from making two trips to the shop like I did.
