Got some new mods today :)
So I sold a friend, who also has a 2011 GT, a set of ASA JH8 20" rims a couple of months back for $400 + his stock rims and tires. He paid me $100 and still owed $300. I found out the other day, while at my wedding no less, that he's selling his 'stang in favor of a truck. This car had several mods on it that I really liked, most notably a BBK CAI, Stack Racing strut tower bar and blue valve covers. I told him that he gives me his mods that he's only had for about 3 months and we'd be even. I noticed power gains immediately on the CAI. She picks up and goes a lot quicker now. The strut tower bar also absorbs a lot of roll. I am quite pleased with this acquisition. Now I just need to wrestle his Hurst shifter away from him lol. Aaand here ya go. Whadaya think?

You are correct in that it is a no-tune CAI. American Muscle does offer a BBK CAI/Bama Tune combo, but it won't throw codes or cause performance issues without the tune so it can wait a bit. The color scheme is different than what I was originally going for. My car is black with silver stripes. Now I need to find somewhere subtle to put some blue on the outside of the car. My illuminated kick plates as well as the halos on my dash are blue as well, so that's cool, but I feel that she needs some blue accents somewhere on the exterior. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm thinking that I'll redo the period on the 5.0 badge in blue, blue lug nuts and >maybe< paint the brake calipers blue. Thoughts?

Also, here are some seriously photoshop enhanced pictures of my car. These were taken this weekend at my wedding. The second picture has me in front of my black 5.0 and my best buddy/best man in front of his red one. Photographer said we looked hit men standing there in our tuxes lol.

Thanks for the kind words Autobred. It was the best day of my life because I married my best friend and soul mate.
I'm getting the Hurst Billet Plus 2 short shifter tomorrow from the same guy. I hope to be getting a Bama tune sometime before the end of the year.

Most importantly, Congratulations on getting hitched! Best of luck to you and your family!
Now to your Stang lol! I think your engine bay looks really clean now. Throw a tune on there and that will really wake your Pony up. I've seen people do the 5.0 badges blue and they actually look really cool, I think that'll be just enough blue for you to tie in the valve covers!
Let me know if you ever have any questions or need some assistance!

Hey Dan, thanks for the kind words. All of the equipment minus my exhaust came from you guys and I'm really looking forward to putting the Bama tune on my car sometime in the near future.

Really do you drive with hood open? No need to tie in the blue there is no blue to see? So my RR Boss because it has blue valve covers I'll have to have some blue on the outside? LOL
