5 months ago I got a "new" 2011 base v6 with less than 2000 miles. After a few cosmetic mods I debated the best performance mod to get....gears or tune. I know the impact of gears having changed a few. I have "chipped a few nonturbo cars and was never impressed with the gains...only mpg increases were noticeable. My last car had this vvt system which made it feel bigger than it was at low rpms as the "on cam" moved. So now the "tune"......WOW!!!. The Bama 91 performance tune for my auto v6 now feels bigger now. Like everyone who has a tune knows, if you have a v6 auto get the tune first. I use this as my DD. Its almost hard to believe you get noticeable power increase AND better mpg at the same time. I know this is nothing new to most of you but when you experience ....wow again. I did try the 91 r and the lower end wasn't there. Get the tune

Just bought an unlocked SCT tuner and ordered my custom tune. Finally blew off the warranty (I have 49K on the odometer), and figured it was now time for the tune.

 

Good stuff! I'm glad you're enjoying our Bama custom tunes on your 11 v6. As you mentioned above the automatic transmission settings are worth the cost, let alone the extra power!
