Ford Racing Supercharger?

Any idea how much it will cost and what hp output it will make on the new 5.0? All the new brochure says is that you can add it.

Did you call a dealer? It will probably be around 6500, and make 550.

The 4.6 version is more than that and is rated at 550, guarantee the one for the 5.0 will be over $7K and it will be rated for BOOM!!!

Only a warranty if the dealer installs it, probably $1200 for the install.

And how much HP remains to be seen.

After reading that other post about what a Ford dealer wanted to charge to install the roushcharger it may cost $2000 to get the FRPP/whipple installed at the dealer.

Brenspeed will install a base Saleen blower on a 3V 4.6 for as little as $650 and that keeps the 3/36 warranty.

my last whipple was 1500 something to install. Ford also covers the whipple kit parts as well.

A loaded GT with a dealer installed blower is almost GT500 money. Why bother? I guess if you do it to a $30k stripper...

A loaded GT + FRPP blower estimated cost + labor is going to put the GT near $47,500. A "base" GT500 is very close to that and a hell of a lot more car. If the 5.0 was built, had the TR6060, the GT500 clutch, then that would be cool....but over $60k once done.

A GT in Canada starts at 38k
A GT500 starts at 60.5k

And I know I can get the GT at near invoice.
GT500s...not so much.
Still has to be at an SVT dealer up here and they don't like to budge

The SC is only part of the deal, though. Even if you avoid beefing up the internals, you'll need to beef up things behind the engine: clutch, transmission, drive shaft, rear end, tires. Power is useless unless you can put it to the pavement.

my new whipple is on order. I talked to a few ford parts guys from about 4 different dealers and they said the cars parts will handle 500hp. The stock neros are the weak point tho.
