Its just a joke bro.

I've got no reason to believe he's lying about it. Just a little hazing for not sharing the glory with some pictures.

For what it's worth, I got my Kenne Bell 2.6L right when they came out. I had pics and video up before, during and after!

Does seem off that the guy hasn't posted anything else since he first posted his brag of having the blower installed, his post count has been 7 ever since. Doesn't really take much time to post pics.

Installed Ford SC for real

Now that I have a digital camera that works, I can post the requested pictures. I will be going to the Denver drag strip some Wed. soon. If anyone knows of a good dyno shop in the Denver area, please advise.

Thx for the pics, now we're believers. Did you have the chance to do a little spirited driving. 'Ya know with TC off ! Not from your area, so i don't know of a good dyno shop.

Very nice! Any difficulty on the install? I think I'm going with a whipple also.

Don't sweat it, Steve, some people are just way too quick to throw up the BS flag.

Thanks for the pics. So, this is the "624" kit, right? Man, I'm jealous! Congratulations!

Marz, yes this the Ford Racing Whipple 624 kit. The mechanic who put it in said that he had to grind a piece here and there, but overall he said it was fairly straight forward and it took about 14 hours (this is the hour quantity that the local Ford shop gave me, but at $120/hr). I paid $90/hr.
I also installed, or had installed the Ford racing street/track suspension kit. Coupled with the 3.73s the car really goes, especially when you hit second gear and third. It just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling, while your slammed in your seat. The handling is awesome, like my previous Roush Stage 3.

I see you left off the strut tower brace. Does it not clear the blower?

Jeff, The GT strut tower does not clear the blower. I now have two in the garage, one from the California package and the other from the ford racing suspension kit. Maybe I'll try to install using shimms. Anyone know if this is a good idea?

What rims and tires are you going to buy? The Brembos wont fit under those CS wheels.

PS, I want your engine.

Rats! I thought that little indentation on the air intake was for STB clearance. Thanks for the info.

I don't see how there would be a problem shimming it up if only 1/4" or so does the trick so you don't run out of threads, providing that doesn't create a hood clearance issue.

Good-luck with the car, you're gonna have yourself some fun!

Crap, that's what I thought, too.
