Flowmaster outlaw and gtcs fitment question

I had a shop install these about a week ago and noticed today that the right muffler is almost rubbing against the gtcs valence. I don't have many tools at my house at all so I was wondering if i can fix this without having to uninstall them.

You can pull down gently on the muffler to stretch the hanger, but like I said be gentle so you don't over stretch it and have to squish it back. Also you can get some hanger keepers (I think they are called) to place on the hanger to center it a little more, or what I did was wrap the hanger in tape to make a nipple where I wanted the exhaust to stay and use a clamp to keep it in place.

Though if you paid for someone to do that I would make them fix it, that's bad if a shop can't do it.

loosen the bolt/clamp that connects the muffler to the OTA pipes. Loosen a bit, then wiggle muffler to position. Then retighten.

The shop just quickly tightened everything with no care to alignment.

p.s. what's with your rear fascia hole? your rear sensor got stolen?

Mine never had the parking assisting sensor. I'm going to paint the valence later this summer anyway.

^ This is exactly what you need to do. Just loosen the clamp a little, and adjust the muffler to the proper position, then tighten to freeze in in place. You don't even need to lift the back end of the car to get to it. Just need a wrench with a deep socket.

You need to take it back to the idiot that installed the mufflers.... Money you spent..... Get them to do it right.

Man! My shop guy brought out a little metal ruler and notepad when he was centering my tips into my CS valance. Furthermore, he placed a tiny dot on the inside of the tips to center the "Roush" embossing.

Case and point: take it back!!

+1 on the ****ty install these guys did. It's really not that hard to get these mufflers on don't know how they could have messed it up so much. I would take it back and have them make sure it fits properly

^This. No offense man, but I wouldn't have even left the shop with the exhaust looking like that.

Also, I'm curious as well. What's with the hole?

I bet it was centered at install, but not torqued enough, which allowed the exhaust to move.

If you can easily move the tip back into place, it's not tight enough and this is what happened....
