Flat spot in exhaust normal?

Flat spot in exhaust normal?-image.jpg

Found it this morning on my exhaust. Only been on one lift at my dealer for a oil change. Did the lift do this or is this some weird thing from the factory?

Very weird. Is that a sound tune thing? I don't seem where it causes any clearance issues? Thanks for the reply

Wow mines got that dent too, I thought it had been damaged at some stage as well, I am going to have to check the top of the other side out some when I get a chance.

I've noticed ford does some shady stuff with their vehicles. As well as put crappy parts from china in.

It is that way for the equipment on the production line to grab it.

The shifter is just a stick with a pivot ball, the problem is how it is connected with the transmission, the fact that it is connected to the body as well that is causing some issues. I for one haven't had a problem with either one I've owned.

And every car manufacturer uses parts made in china or india.

Not to thread jack OP, but this whole "made in China" **** gets real old. Had it been made in then US the trams would be too expensive and probably still suck. The phone or computer you're typing on right now is most likely 100% Chinese, Taiwanese, some sort of 3rd world country.

Just installed GT500 AB on my 2014 GT and I noticed the exact same dent in the drivers side pipe... So I too say it is normal.

I think the GT500 AB's are perfect. They have a deeper richer sound, moderately louder at idle / low rpm. Aggressive sound when you are pushing it yet barely noticeable in the cabin when cruising or at highway speeds. Conversation and listening to audio / radio is comfortable. I bought these in January when I ordered the car and just now installed them. I wish I had done it months ago. I highly recommend them.
