You know what you're going to get with the roush mufflers. I think the RTR would be nice, and different. I've talked to CDC and have said the sound is great but I would make sure to hear them before spending that much on axle backs.
Let me know if I can help you with any questions or with whatever exhaust you decide.

Bassani hands down, youtube it with 13 gt, late model restoration has side by side compares with frpp, outlaws, bassani. I just installed mine and they are beastly deep and growly and loud. They also are the biggest in diameter 4' and look menacing sticking out the back of the 13 gt

indeed, i can't figure out the difference between RTR and stock. you are right, it should be a seriously consideration whether to speed such bouncy of money for a muffler.

Borla S type is the best on the market.

Best bang for your buck is Gt500s with resonators deleted and runs a close second to the Borlas.

Everyone has their preferences. I've had roush and they were obnoxiously loud but raspy. Now I have borla s types which are deeper and more "muscle car" is say listen to some in person. YouTube does no justice. Where are you located? Perhaps you can meet up with a member to listen to one or go to a meet

Hahaha, In theory!!! In reality they sound so sexy that I can't keep my foot off the pedal which decreases my mileage.

And i agree, they ARE light. The stock mufflers are practically made of lead...

Very true, you can't drive it like you stole it and expect a gas mileage increase.

Driving method and conditions will affect fuel economy the most.

I put the GT 500 axlebacks on, WOW. Should've come stock with these, awesome with your foot in it, and zero drone on the highway. Not so loud that you crack windows and sever relationships in your neighborhood either, just right.

By the way, got them from American Muscle, very inexpensive, easy to put on.
