Exhaust question

Exhaust question
So I'm wanting to give my 2011 5.0 a beefier sound and get rid of the stock exhaust, I'm looking for that deep rumble but I'm not sure which exhaust would be best. I've done some research but still not enough to make a sound decision. What would some of you recommend? Do you have a preference Borla, flowmaster or another brand? Which would give me the best bang for my buck?

I can't speak for the 5.0, but I just put MAC Boom Tubes on my 06' GT, and it's got a super deep rumble, sounds mean when you're on it, and gives you great pop/burble on downshifts. Of course, that's just an axle-back, and I can imagine it being mighty loud with long tubes and a catless H-pipe.

Get a good pair of head phones so it sounds as close to hearing it in person as possible. Check out my signature too, I've created a big exhaust guide consisting of youtube videos of different setups for the 5.0.

I've got the Offroad magnaflow x pipe with flowmaster hushpowers. Great sound with the mufflers but the x pipe will give you the extra throaty sound you really want. Constantly getting compliments on the unique rumble it has. I would recommend this setup to anyone.

Lol. Yeah laptop speakers aren't worth a ****. I bought some small Sony stereo headphones from Walmart for about $30 that gives off great bass and really does the sound a lot of justice.

Cost effectiveness and actually my second favorite-- Gt500 axleback without resonators. Several links to YouTube vids on here.
Best and my favorite is borla s type catback. If you wanna a little louder raspier sound than that, then the borla atak catback. -- you could save a little cash and get the above mentioned borlas in axleback. But if I went borla id go ahead and do it with the entire catback and get the performance too.

Well I think I'm going to go all out with the Borla ATAK catback, it's more than I'd like to spend but everyone I've asked said it's worth the money. Thanks everyone for your input
