Exhaust Question

Will the GT500 mufflers fit on the 5.0?

If so I plan on adding a Lethal Performance O/R x-pipe and the GT500 take off mufflers.

Not sure if it would all fit or not but my imagination is telling me yes. But if you want a perfect sounding exhaust id either go with the off road x and magnaflow magnapacks or an axleback muffler delete. I have a muffler delete on my 2010 and it sounds sick . On the 5.0 it will probably sound even better.

Yes. Wait a minute. Maybe. I'm bettin' a welder and/or cutter might make anything work though...

Nobody will know for sure if the exhaust has changed from the 2010 until the cars are out. "Probably will fit" is the best you can hope for as an answer until then.

I'd bet that the mounts are not going to be relocated but you never know.

And what sounded good on the 4.6 3V might sound like garbage on the 5.0.

Yeah. Just like the 4v 4.6 sounds different from the 2v and 3v versions. Also, the 5.0 will have resonators mounted mid ship (between the H and the rear axle). Those will play a factor.

My Roush has resonators in the same place...

evolution performance confirmed the 10's setup won't fit as a direct bolt-on to the 11's. different flanges, bends, etc.

Nothing fits from previous years? Axle backs too?

Axle-backs will fit with modifications; the flange style is different.
