Exhaust fitment question
Well I made a big mistake, picked up some GT500 exhaust "locally". However, I was so into getting the over axle pipes I never asked what year it was from. The forums i got them from are 11-12 specific and I wandered to the Shelby section which is all years. And I also took the mufflers too. When I got home and inspected the mufflers they looked different and are probably from a 10 or older. Just found out its from a 2007. Question is, can the over axle pipes fit if a shop does the work, without welding anything shut and retaining the bolt-on ability of the axle backs?
Btw the mufflers are not going on my car..
Also is there any market for 07-09 Shelby mufflers and over axle pipes or should I just toss them in the garbage?

You could probably have the hangers on the exhaust cut off and have new ones welded on in the appropriate locations. But for that price you might want to look into just getting a new over axle pipe depending on pricing. I would test fit an overaxle pipe to make sure that it the right size, who knows how long the headers and mid pipe are compared to the 5.0L.
I would sell them. You won't get much for them but maybe a guy with a V^ or GT might want to buy them. Whats the worst that can happen right.
