nice numbers man. All that from just bolt on? Is the Steeda 93 tune just a tune that you buy from them and do yourself at home?

Off bad. The torque number seems low for what he has done on his car. 357 is usually a number we see on bone stock cars.

Isn't the consensus that the boss mani brings TQ losses?

That's on a mustang dyno so that's as good as it gets! Yes torque is little low but when I do the headers and x pipe torque should come back up. That install will be on the 26th. I'm going to do some datalogging and send that to steeda so they can upgrade my tune.

This is a good mod worth the money, and with full exhaust has proven killer gains complemented with a good tune. I have gained almost 60whp with boss, cai, and canned tune I would say that's pretty dam good! Still have headers and x pipe plus custom dyno tune. I'm expecting a total of 80 to 90whp gain with all mods and CDT! That impressive gains for just bolt ons I don't care what anyone says!

That HP number is pretty high for a Mustang Dyno. Probably one of the highest I've seen. The rwtq is right on with what I've seen for Mustang Dyno's though.

You've got a factory special there. That engine is strong.

Very nice. Long tubes will definitely make a big difference!! Especially sound wise which is always a plus. Who would you have do the LT install?

I have 397 rwhp and 387 rwtq with just a 91race tune from bama and borla ab. I just recently added LT and o/r h-pipe, and a carbon fiber CAI. I will be happy if I land in the 420 rwhp range.

I still disagree, and I think (in most cases) power under the curve suffers too much with a Boss intake and the car is actually slower.

I think with a CAI, throttle body, longtubes, full catless 3" exhaust, 4.10s or better, some weight reduction, and maybe a light driveshaft and wheels a Boss intake would be a nice compliment. It also compliments any forced induction well.

I firmly believe on a CAI/tune (even O/R x pipe) car the boss intake hurts more than it helps.

I don't mean to bash the boss intake every chance I get, and I think I may have commented in your other thread (I usually open my mouth everytime someone starts talking about a boss intake) but I just want to point out that for the majority of people (CAI/tune, maybe x pipe) a boss intake isn't (IMO) worth the money. I just hope that anybody who installs a boss intake has a true back to back comparison of performance, not SOTP. Either dyno your car back to back, or run it at the track back to back, or race someone with a close car back to back and make sure you realize what its doing to your car.

IMO, I would rather have the torque.... so no Boss mani for me, unless I go full bolt ons, or maybe an SC.

Question for you though, your sig... you ran 11.74 quarter STOCK???
