Different tune not needed with the Boss Intake?

So I ordered an intake and O/R xpipe from Lethal, and the fiancee surprised me with a Boss Manifold for Christmas. I wrote Jon Lund right away to have him adjust the tune (which was already shipped in the new tuner) for the new manifold.

He replied with this:

"Richard your tune is already modded for the Boss Intake. You are good. On the last 100 GTs I have been sending the tunes out already setup for the Boss Intake because the changes are so suttle and its only two changes. The GTs adaption does the rest. So you are good to go !"

I know he's the expert, but does that really seem right? No additional changes need to be made with adding the Boss manifold????

That's about the same response I got from Jon when I inquired about a new tune for the Boss intake. I put the intake on in October and have had no issues with it. The car still runs like a scalded dog with the same tune I had on it before. I trust that what he said is correct because I didn't even have so much as a hiccup in the idle from the first start of the car with the intake on. I've also seen dyno sheets on other forums where Jon's tunes do not lose down low torque like many have reported. I can't tell a difference in down low, but it pulls hard and fast up top.

And, apparently that is about where you need to shift in order to fully take advantage of that intake.
