Differences in GT Auto and Manual exhaust?

Installed GT500 AB's yesterday and I noticed my stock mufflers are marked "MAN" with a factory sticker and "MT" is written on each muffler in magic marker. I can only assume that means manual transmission so there must be a difference in the mufflers from automatic transmission and manual transmission. Does anyone have the part numbers from their original factory auto GT mufflers? What is the difference? Just curious.

My GT manual part numbers are:

Right Passenger Side
F1-8388-R
10832H
1 066 13
DR33-5230-BA
A753F
067-2013

Left Drivers Side
F1-8388-L
10832H
2 065 13
DR33-5232-BA
A753F
066-2013

I know on the 05-09 cars they were different. I think the manual equipped cars had slightly louder mufflers. Looking at the post above mine, it appears that this generation of cars use the same ones.

I was thinking about these mufflers as well, are you happy with the sound?
Are they worth the money over stock?

If you are referring to the GT500 AB's then yes, they are very much worth it. I have them as well and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. The best part is the burble on deceleration when in gear. As for volume, it would take a pretty conservative type to label these as obnoxious. Not loud at all, just a really nice sound.

Just wondering if yours have a upc label around the inlet tube. My originals say MAN, thought yours might say something else.. The GT500 say SVT

I have only had them a day and 40 miles or so but I really like them. Hardly a noticeable sound difference in the car with windows up, sounds great with windows down. I had my wife drive it today so I could stand outside and listen to it...made me smile, sound it just right. Haven't heard it WOT yet.

I must say...the install was not as easy as I thought it would be after reading here and watching u-tube vids. After first sliding the rear muffler post out of the rubber bracket (easy part), I had to drop the front muffler mounting brackets (2 bolts on passenger side, 3 bolts on drivers side). . Installation alignment right to left / up and down of each tip was pretty easy BUT for some unknown reason the passenger side tip did not protrude out from the bumper as far as the left side. Finally I loosened the passenger side forward mid-pipe clamp and tapped the muffler toward the rear with a rubber mallet until they were even. I'm an old man..but to me it was a BI**H!!

On the pic of the Automatics above the last 2 letters are different than the numbers you posted, and that changes the part.
I know the V6 are different and as was said before the 05-10 were different.

On the earlier V6's, the manual and automatics had different outlet tubes.

I'll check, but it will be about 8 days from now due to me being away from home.

I have sets of 2011 auto and 2007 MT and nothing alike. The 2007 mufflers are smaller. The 2011 auto cars were louder than the manual cars with stock AB and tune.

I looked at my stock mufflers that were on my 2014 GT/automatic and they have the same 8388 number as listed above. I didn't look at the UPC tag though. Next time I go to where they are stored, I will look at what it says.

My Roush exhaust that I installed sticks out more on the driver's side compared to the passenger side. Since the tips on this can be adjusted, I need to do that.

The Ford Racing axle back that I installed on my fiancée's 07 GT sticks out more on the driver's side than the passenger side as well and her tips are fixed. I've seen other pictures online that show the same thing on the older cars as well as this new generation.

Thanks for checking your 2014 part numbers. I'd be interested in all the numbers, some a engineering numbers, date codes etc.

Here are the numbers off of the factory mufflers from my 2014 GT/automatic. The sticker wrapped around each inlet pipe says MAN just like yours do so I doubt it means manual transmission since mine is an automatic and has the same letters.

Left driver's side
F1-8388-L
10832H
1 030 13
DR33-5232-BA
A753F
035-2013

Right passenger side
F1-8388-R
10832-H
1 029 13
DR33-5230-BA
A753F
036-2013

I'm going to assume that both transmissions use the same mufflers since the difference in a few of the numbers looks to be date codes. My car was built in Feb 2013.
