Custom Tunes-(prefer the sponsors themselves to answer about their specific offerings)

So, you have an auto 5.0(or at least I do), get a few bolt ons and a tune from Lund, Bama, or whoever and you change the gears later. Assuming you have an SCT that can change the gear ratio, is it really as simple as when I did it on my Jeep? Just selecting the new ratio and it doesn't mess up the eight cylinder sorcery the custom shop did? It just seems too simple.

Goal? Supercharged. Quarter mile between 10.00 and 10.50. Full stock interior.

***obviously, there are other mods required to achieve that goal, but that's not for this thread. I just want the first handhold in the cliff.
