Correct, the crank is good for some serious power. Shoot us a call or send me a pm, we can get you squared away with some good kits.

Have you guys done a cost/benefit of building up the original motor versus buying an Aluminator from Ford Racing?

There's something to be said for having your stock motor bagged and on an engine stand tucked safely away in the garage.

MRGTX... Im with you. The prices I have seen on the Ford Racing engines are not bad at all. Plus some come with a warranty. Some of the engines you could not build for what they are charging. Just say in.

I've heard a lot of horror stories on the build quality of the Aluminator engines.

Yikes.

Eventually i would like to do the Cobra jet intake/Vortec blower combo for some serious top end power! Will i need better valve springs also if i want to raise the redline closer to 8k rpm? I will call Hypermotive when im ready for my forged goodies!
