Anyways, in for clips of Borla Stingers or Borla ATAK systems

 

I've not noticed a 'popping' sound from the MF. Maybe because when I think of 'popping' sound I associate it with the giant exhausts people put on the Civics. But whatever... everybody likes what they like. None of them sound BAD.

 

No, none sound bad, this one sounds a lot like the V8 Vantage.

 

I am picking my car up from Jeff (05fordgt) on Saturday and taking it to Corsa on Sunday so they can use it for more test samples. Looks like I could get hooked up with a free exhaust!!

Wow That had to be a different camera or exhaust right? Sounds nothing like the first video.


ETA Nevermind I just noticed the first video it was always under load and not just sitting.

 

This one sounds the best to me so far. The Kooks is way too cackly for me. The Magnaflow pops too much on deceleration. Before I buy, though, I'll hang out and see what Borla has to offer, as others have said.

At $3k for the full exhaust, I'm not taking chances.

 

i think the corsas cackle more and are higher pitch
the corsa with the x-pipe loses some pulses compared to the h-piped one

Sounds about like the magnaflows I put on mine.
I believe to me the Magnaflows have a little deeper sound. They sound more like the ones in the Kooks exhaust video to me.

As far as the popping sound with Magnaflows I hear a lot more popping in the Corsa videos than I hear on my car with Magnaflows.
But that is just my opinion.
Buy what you want not what someone tells you to buy.

 

Corsa's sound nice but they definitely pop more on decel than the Kooks. Can't wait to hear what Borla and Bassani sound like.

 

I definitely think these sound the best out there in the market. The Kooks sound pretty good.

We will have all 3 of our sound options for the 5.0L released next week. "Touring", "S-Type" and the patented "ATAK". There will also be a video released next week that shows the difference between the 3 options. The 5.0L motor is completely different from the previous Mustang and is required a radically different muffler design. We went through 18 different muffler designs in order to get the right 3 sound levels. They sound great and we are really proud of what we were able to do. I can't wait for you guys to hear them. So I had my Corsa Extreme Axlebacks and X-Pipe installed today and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. It has a nice rumble on idle and while cruising, it's calm but noticeably louder than stock. No drone that I can hear at any rpm but will continue to check when I drive more on the highway. When you hit the gas, WOW does it scream. Those videos on youtube do not give justice to the way they sound in person (which is expected). They are slighty higher in tone and more raspy than the magnaflows or the flowmasters but it's a very clean sounding exhaust. No back-firing when I revved it up. There is definitely more noticeable pull in the higher rpm range (Corsa estimates up to 10HP total with X-Pipe and axlebacks). I will post sound clips or video when I get a chance.

 

So David, any action coming soon like the sites suggest ! I`m just about to order, but want to wait and see what your exhausts will sound like. Thx

I know it's hard to make an exact judgement just based on videos, but IMO the Bassani sounds the best so far.
