Yep. That's what I did. I had the axlebacks alone first, then bought the OTA and x pipe separate. It's sad that I have their part numbers memorized. That's how much I love them lol

The x pipe is 60513.

The OTA pipe is 60521. It is essentially a res delete.

I say start from the front. Get some long tubes and a set of high flow cats and go from there.

Gt500s are a 2 out of 10, and borla s axlebacks are an 8, while borla full catback is a 10. Period. Get the borlas...you won't look back. It's perfection in every possible way.

Here they are on my car.

So throaty! This is what a mustang should sound like..

That doesn't look practical for wrenching on the car...

I run the SLP Loudmouths and love them, but think LT's and cams are in my future.

I really like the Borla S types and Kooks catback or even axleback. I will agree with what some guys said about the Boss quad pipe, it completely changes the sound of your car.

I was debating over the boss quads or borla full catback. Glad I went borla... Never looked back. I absolutely love the sound. Family, friends, neighbors, passersby, other mustang owners, other drivers, etc all agree too

My buddy with a roush exhaust is now wanting to change his out... Lol

Stock to Ford GT500 Axle Backs?

Thinking of just a simple change from stock exhaust to only GT500 Axle Backs (I bought before delivery). Stock sounds good to be so I am not sure the change is worth the effort. Only looking for slight sound changes, maybe a deeper tone. I do not want loud especially in the cabin. What do u guys think?

Gt500s are decent... Deeper than stock. But if you're like me or most folks, you will end up wanting "more" after a few hundred miles.

That sounds very much like the Roush axleback to me... but maybe a little louder. I think the Roush is a bit obnoxious if you stand on it, so can't really imagine what those are like. Other morning I set the neighbor's car alarm off driving by at about 15mph.
