color opinions on painting brembo package wheels.
Powdercoat would be at least 100 a piece. I can paint them myself for 60-80 bucks total. Not being cheap, just rather put the other 300+ towards new rims.

I pay $75 each and they'll last 10x longer and youd have no problem getting decent $ back on them when you sell. Self-painted, weird color on chipped rims not so much. Just an idea.

I've painted rims before. And I am very familiar with this paint. To me powercoating these rims is a waste of money I could spend somewhere else. And I have no intentions on selling them. As I stated eairler I have seen this paint stand up to years of rallycross abuse. For a car I put 6000 miles a year or so on they would last an eternity.
Paint is acrylic enamel. wheels were sanded with 300 then 180 and I used Bullydog adhesion promoter. It should last the life of the car.
