It was't too bad to be honest. The two parts I was dreading were the timing cover machining and the ACT mod to the PCM harness. Both were easier than I had planned and in my head I was psyching myself out. The rest went smooth sailing. Sadly I would be complete had it been the pump bracket was not missing. SO I need to call Roush tomorrow AM and have that conversation with them. The instructions weren't the best but once you got into it, it wasn't to bad.

I would say do it. I know the Roush tune is mild and safe but 575 horsepower will make me happy. SO even with an auto it should net out to a little over 500 HP to the wheels. **** respectable.

I'll get you a shot tonight. I don't like rear spoilers because everytime you wash the car, water runs out for hours. LOL I also think the look is cleaner.

I hear ya. Oddly enough I won't have much whine with the factory airbox still in place. That wasn't my goal.

You know I am an older T-Bird SC'er and fell in love with the Eaton Roots type blower back in the day. I have had a number of tehm. I went with the TVS because I believe Eaton makes a great product, very reliable, they are proven, and now very efficient.

I looked at a Centrifugal setup. There was just as much modification either way. For me it came down to what I felt comfortable with. This kit was $6K and a centrifugal setup was about the same.

Vanilla and chocolate I suppose. I am not anti centrifugal BTW - I have had a number of them over the years including an old "R" trim.

Congrats! She looks awesome! I dig that you still have the factory airbox, I'm not a believer in HECAI(Hot Engine Compartment Air Intakes). Glad to see another Thunderchicken Vet...I miss those cars.

I fired it up today and it sounds awesome. Runs perfectly and no leaks. Good to go. Can't wait for warm weather.

Here is a link to a ten second video of it running. The pump bracket will be in today. Too bad I'll be in Phoenix on business. Just to start it, I zip tied the pump to the bumper support beam. When I get back home Friday evening I will install the bracket and bolt the pump in, then re-install the front bumper cover. Then that'll be all she wrote. I am so pumped up for warmer weather right now.
