California's awesome CARB

So i've been wanting to further upgrade my exhaust system but it seems like I run into red tape anywhere I turn with CARB. If i try to change the midpipe, i'm screwed. If I try to do anything even if I keep the stock cats it seems in California I will fail inspection. Maybe the BOSS side exhaust is the only option? If anyone in California has any information or experience with this it'd be greatly appreciated to know what I'm capable of and what i'm not able to do.

Go here - into the belly of the beast - and search for one that works for you:

As far as I've read there's no aftermarket parts that have an EO (Executive Order) past 2006. So basically i'm ****ed. But the Boss exhaust has to be smog legal if it's standard on Boss 302s.

Not to mention their database only seems to care about headers. There's nothing on anything after the cats. Yet people that mess with their exhaust after the cats still seem to fail smog.
