Brenspeed Develops Calibrations for Comp Cams 2011 Mustang 5.0L Camshafts

Below you will find a sneak peak of tuning the new 5.0L camshafts by comp cams. We are still in development on the calibrations and will be drag calibrating as soon as we get a day with good weather. We have logged over 120 pulls so far testing cam angles and just about have these cams dialed in.

I've been thinking a lot about supercharging my whip lately, but if I don't I would really love to put cams in but I fear drivability issues. If there are no issues I would jump all over it.

Good to hear. The new 5.0 is truly one of the best mustangs ever made. It puts a grin on my face every day.

These cams are no springs required and maintain excellent drivability. Stock mannered at light throttle but a whole nother ball game at wot.

Give us a call if you have any questions.

What are you seeing for low end torque? Are you trading any torque for the top end horsepower?
