Boss quad exhaust vs. gt500 quad exhaust

I'm trying to decided between the two right now. Any and all comments are appreciated as well as sound clips you may have.

No sound clips but IMO the Boss exhaust gets annoying very quickly. Go with the GT500 mufflers, if it is between those two, if you want another suggestion for mufflers I would go with the Flowmaster Outlaw mufflers.
Yes there is drone in the usual 1800-2300 range, but I think they sound great, and it's different then the usual Roush or Borla sound.

love my boss exhaust. and its only a 15 minute job if you want to put the discs back in and have it be nice and quiet.

Well the boss quad exhaust is a mid pipe and the gt 500 quads are mufflers, so both maybe?

I agree, both sound great.

I have GT500 AB and the Boss H-Pipe. I went with the electric cutouts also so I can run just the GT500's with a flip of a switch when we are on a long cruise or when the car is setting in the drive warming up at 6:00am in the morning.

It's a tough call on which one if you are wanting one or the other. I liked the sound I had with the h-pipe and stock AB and I like the sound of just the GT500 AB when the cutouts are closed. The GT500 AB is cheaper of the two.

The OP is asking about the GT500 quad tip AB like on the 2013-2014 GT500 ( not the -2012 GT500 style AB ) vs the Boss 302 h-pipe.

Exactly! I mean I could do the single tip gt500, but I love the look of the quad gt500 exhaust with the rear valence.

Yeah you could likely use both the boss mid pipe and quad gt 500 exhaust.

I hear ya - My plan is to start with the Boss h-pipe and stock axle back, and see how I like the sound with the side pipes wide open. I am pretty sure i will like it as I heard the same setup on another car recently. Then, if I want it a little louder I will consider the 2013+ GT500 quad tip axle backs. I really like that look as well. Then, if the car is too loud I can always tune the side exit volume with the various baffle plates.

I wish my car would get built so I could get started!
