what about all of the buttons, all just plugs in or something doesn't function?
leather seems kinda slippery to me, i love the feel of the boss 302 wheel, seems like you are more in control?

The buttons come on the boss steering wheel, I just switched the sync button out of my old steering wheel, it just pops out and unplugs, the wiring was the same. I thought I would have to change the wires also but it plugged in and works great.

Dude, the wheel alone is NIRVANA! I have the GT500 wheel (BOSS was still just a wet dream at the time). It is like a glove turned inside out. I did pick up a Shaker 500 Head Unit off of Ebay for $125 and the stereo controls all work - only Sync buttons are non-functional but I don't care about that bell and whistle!

It is possible to make the buttons work if you swap out your base steering wheel with a Boss or 18R steering wheel. The Boss and the 18R fleet mustangs have the same radio as the base mustang. The wiring is there and you have to reflash the ACU (Audio Control Unit) with a new line of code to allow your mustang to "turn on" the buttons. I had mine done with the 18R wheel and all the buttons work perfectly. I found this thread on another forum to be very helpful when I was originally looking into doing a steering wheel swap.
