SS isn't cheap, especially when you look at the amount of material used for a catback system. Also, the manufactuers have to recoup their investment in R&D, plus profit every time the exhaust changes hands.

I can see why they charge more since they put a lot of time in developing the sound of the exhaust. If it sounds like that and doesn't drone then it's money well spent.

There are absolutely no droning issues with any of the Borla exhaust options for the 2011 GT. It was a real challenge to tune out the drone and maintain 3 different awesome exhaust notes. This is why we were so late to market. In the end, the products are so great that we feel it was worth the wait. The design of the mufflers in our S-Type and ATAK systems for the 2011 GT are are dramatically different from all other brands and this is why the sound is so awesome with absolutely no drone anywhere.

That video was pretty awesome. I like that they put it together and the side by side comparison. Its a tough choice for me between the Touring and S-type. I don't want it to be too loud but definitely want to hear it more than my stock exhaust.
