Borla Exhaust
Borla website has put up additional information on their various exhausts. No sound clips yet. Pricing a little shocking.

I could be wrong bu I am thinking those prices are MSRP like some of the other manufacturers have on their sites.
Part #11790
$819.00 on Borla's site
$679.00 on Crutchfield's site (did not know Crutchfield sold exhausts)

I can not believe the prices these days for axle backs. Mufflers and tips pushing a grand. $400 is pushing it if you think what you are getting for the money and no performance gain with it.

Retailers are usually able to sell them for 15-20% less.
But still that's around $700 for axle backs and around $1200 for catback.
That's BMW prices for exhaust.
That bums me out.
Axle back should be $600 most and catback $900 most for the 2011 GT

Yeah, never go by their site prices.
Even the posted prices by some retailers can be knocked down.
That being said, if like before the FRPP mufflers still using rebadged Borla S-Type,
they are way cheaper.
I REALLY want to hear the ATAK on the 5L.
or even 4.6L for that matter.

That's still high. I got Flows for my 08 GT for around $275. Over six hundred for a couple of mufflers? You gota be nuts!

Exhaust prices are ridiculous. I had a system bent and bought a Magnaflow muffler, non polished for under $200. Cat back on my GMC. I know it's no Mustang but good god. I know these systems are better than local shop metal but the pricing is out of hand.

If I remember correctly, I spent about $600 for the Borla Stingers on my 05, so these prices don't seem that far off (especially since these are MSRP prices).
Borla is claiming they have completely eliminated interior drone with these mufflers, which was a major problem for most mufflers on the 4.6L.
Are any other muffler manufacturers making that claim for the new 5.0 mufflers? That alone seems like it's worth a little extra money to me.
(Yeah, I know, Corsa managed to eliminate the drone in the 05-09s, but they looked like ricer mufflers the way they stuck up at an angle and they were expensive, too)
Plus, in the pictures it looks like the cat-back now includes an X-pipe? The cat-backs on the previous generation usually only included the over-axle pipes.
I went through a lot of trouble (and money) on multiple setups for my 06 before I finally settled on the Stingers. I would rather avoid that again, so if they sound as good or better than the Stingers and they really have eliminated the drone, I'd get 'em.
