Borla ATAK with resonator delete
I'm sure this thread has been talked about many times before.
I'm thinking about removing my resonators simply to gain more volume. I have the stock H pipe currently and I love the sound just looking for more volume. Are there any drawbacks to this?
If someone out there has this current set up could you post an audio video clip

Yes, you will get more noise and better exhaust flow when you remove the resonators. I have Borla S with res delete and a JBA H-pipe, which made my exhaust louder and increased rasp a bit. I could down load a video, but it would take me awhile. I'm not very good with that kinda stuff.

Yeah, coming from the S type axlebacks , which have a low tone, I can tell a difference. The attacks already have some rasp, so probably won't notice much more.

Found a couple clips on YouTube. It's hard to tell with just the car in neutral and revving it. So lame! I need to hear the car accelerating through the RPM range. What I did hear though I didn't like.
I found a nice clip of the Borla ATAK with the cats removed doing some flybys. That's more like the sound I'm looking for.

Getting ATAK installed in a week or so, will try to upload a clip for you. Current setup is gt500ab + no resonators + boss side pipes. Might sound a bit different though. I'm pretty excited.

So which have the deeper/throatier tone, the Borla Atak's or Borla "S" type ? I'm looking for that deeper/throatier sound with the least amount of drone

I haven't upgraded to a 5.0 Coyote yet, so hopefully the Atak's or "S" type's will sound nearly as good on my 2006 4.6L 3 valve GT

Then I'm definitely very interested.. I also just finished watching the video you posted and I really like the sound from all 3 Borla exhausts.. But my favorites are between the "S" type and ATAK's..
Which ever one I end up selecting will replace my current Magnaflows that drone between 1500-2500 RPM at cruising speeds and also have that annoying tinny/raspy/crackling sound to them as well lol.
