Nice #'s.
There are 2 most common standards used on dyno testing, SAE J1349 & SAE J607.
J1349 is used by most OEM's, results in the numbers you see in print and in tv ads.
J607, also known as " STD " is usually 4 % higher than J1349, used by some shops because of the higher #'s

Kurgan is about the best there is when it comes to dyno tuning Mustangs !! It doesn't matter whether it's an old pushrod 5.0, 4.6, Cobra/Shelby, or the newer 5.0's, he is best !!!

Awesome. Do you have the car back yet?
I wonder what the "butt dyno" will tell you? Let us know.

I'm guess I got real lucky!lol He was out here at GTR high performance for 3 days only, and I caught him on his last night by pure coincidence.

I'm glad there is a guy with a good rep that is close. 3 hour drive is close enough for me. I'm sure there are some guys up near Charlotte but I don't know. I might end up going to Petty's Garage.

If you are looking close to Charlotte then I would contact Dan @ Pro Dyno about tuning. He is right on the SC (fort mill)/NC (charlotte) border.

I've heard great things about pro dyno, my mechanic has gotten his t-bird and both terminators tuned there. Wish I lived closer.

Sweet! Thanks for the info on Pro Dyno. I will check those guys out when I get back from here in a few years. By then I should be in real need of some good tuning. That's maybe where I'm going to retire too. Bonus.
