Bassani exhaust long tube headers 2011 GT video
Holy ****!!! 438rwhp?! I'm not sure if I believe that. 438rwhp from just headers and full exhaust is INCREDIBLE!!! I am a HUGE Bassani fan. I have always had Bassani exhaust on all of my Mustangs. The sound, quality, and fit are second to none, but really 60-70rwhp? This must be with a tune, and I'm guessing surely an intake also. Anyone have any idea of the mods done to that car? if it's true, I'm highly impressed. That means an EASY 450rwhp with intake. Just for comparison, those are stock GT500 numbers!!!
OK, I just read the comments on the youtube video. Apparently that dyno type skews the reading a bit since it doesn't have the tires (larger diameter, less torque) driving it. That makes this likely to put down in the 400-410rwhp range on a Dynojet. Still, those are **** impressive numbers for no tune/intake. I've seen cars with intake, tune, headers, full exhaust making around that power. Apparently Bassani did a hell of a job as usual, and the sound is purely amazing. It reminds me of my '03 Cobra, it just sounds so pissed, like it is on a mission to eat all GM products.
Oh my...
Until now, I've been restricting my search for a new exhaust to Corsa and Borla. IMHO, this blows them both away. Although deep, it lacks the screechiness both of the others seem to have at WOT. Pure sonic bliss. I think I'm in love...
GrabberBlue310, I'm interested in the whole Bassani setup (headers, x-pipe, catted exhaust) for my 2012 GT convertible. As far as I can tell, nobody has this entire setup on a convertible. I tried contacting Bassani customer support via their website, to see if there would be any fitment issues on a convertible. I haven't heard back from them. Do you have any alternate contact info? You can PM me if you want. Thanks!
